MEDELLÍN AV CLUB

Looking for assistant producer/ content creator 

Hi, my name is Rob LaFond. I am an audiovisual producer from Los Angeles and owner of brand LaFond Medellin and indie production company, the Medellín AV club. I am looking for an assistant producer/content creator to help me with my projects. 

This person must be completely bilingual in Spanish and English. This is kind of a mixed position. I would like someone to help create content for the clothing brand LaFond Medellin and help bring the company online with an online store, digital sales, instagram, and Amazon. 

This person will also be helping with the audio video projects for the Medeeliín AV club. We will be working on the documentary series project Legends of Medellín along with other web content for the AV club focusing on interesting topics about the city. The person needs to feel comfortable going to different parts of the city and doing interviews. This is a full time position for an up and coming producer who has some experience and is eager to learn. 

 

Skills:

• Knowledge of the city / history 
• Writing skills in Spanish and English
• Experience with interviews and being comfortable in front of the camera
• Experience doing audio and voice-overs (being recorded and recording)
• Knowledge of instagram/Youtube and web formats 
• Editing experience or willingness to learn is a huge plus
• Ability to work well with a team

 

Responsibilities: 

 

• Helping with LaFond Medellín and managing online store 
• Helping with interviews and translating 
• Helping manage the equipment and keep it secure moving it through the city
• Writing scripts and interviews in Spanish / English
• Writing and coming up with concepts and scripts
• Recording the necessary audio/video for each piece 
• Coming up with ideas for shows and series 
• Editing audio/video and creating finished pieces 
• Posting media, creating descriptions, thumbnails and making sure everything is displayed and published properly in the correct formats
